Who’s this guy?

Oh hey, I’m John. A Scottish Cotswoldsian. Yes, my accent’s a bit weird.

And no, that totally isn’t photoshop.

To the humblebraggy bit. I’m a multi-award-winning creative director who’s just returned to London from heading up the Vancouver creative department at Canada’s biggest agency network - Cossette. I worked across the full roster of clients - from global behemoths like McDonald’s, to Canadian icons like TELUS telco, to local treasures like Playland theme park. We won big business together, and the agency’s first awards in years. It was a blast.

Before I hopped over the pond to hang out with our poutine-producing pals, I was creative director at Creature London. Which was also a lot of fun.

On the side, I co-founded Queer Ad Folk which is a project championing LGBTQ+ people thriving out there in adland to help inspire the next generation entering the industry.

I’m a big believer that excellent work is doable no matter the message, medium or money. It simply takes ambition and guts to get there.

Totally unsolicited praise.
